Creative Carbon isn’t a funding body but you can find lots of practical tools and resources to support your organisation. Check out the Tools and Resources section of the website or contact us to discuss your needs and how we can work directly with your organisation.

I’m hearing about Mandatory Carbon Reporting, will it affect the arts sector?

Mandatory climate-related financial disclosures, introduced in Australia in 2025, will impact the arts sector by requiring certain organisations to report on their climate-related risks and opportunities. This new legislation will apply to large corporations and asset managers, with a phased approach for smaller entities over the coming years. The arts sector, particularly institutions with unique energy consumption patterns (like museums and theatres) and those involved in touring, will need to adapt to these new reporting requirements.
